CCR trains young people for the labor marketTuesday, March 19, 2013 - 12:48
Life School, an initiative by CCR ViaLagos Concessionaire, has been preparing young residents from surrounding communities to the labor market for 13 years. Today, March 19, is the date of the degree ceremony of the 19th group formed by 60 youngsters aged 17 to 24. The ceremony will happen at 2PM, at the concessionaire's headquarter, in Rio Bonito, RJ.
During the 8 months of class, students learn about computer skills and maintenance, customer service techniques, and also are instructed toward self-knowledge, personal planning, ethics, and citizenship. The students also joined lectures on employment opportunities, professional talent, and labor market. The 20th group will start in April this year.
Since its establishment in 2000, the Program has already trained for the labor market about one thousand students from socially vulnerable positions, who attended public schools or live close to ViaLagos.
