Construtora Camargo Corrêa reached in March the level of four thousand dental services provided in less than a year, at the work site of Jirau Hydroelectric Plant, RO, one of the major works of the Federal Government's Growth Acceleration Program (PAC, Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento).

The visits started in May 2012, with the Worker's Mobile Dental Unit, where professionals find a full structure for basic dental health treatment. The purpose is to give employees a proper dental care.

The dentist in charge, Eric Tacari, sees about 30 patients a day. He performs basic procedures such as fillings, tooth extraction, cleaning, fluoride and bicarbonate application, removal of sutures, clinical and emergency care, as well as providing guidelines on oral hygiene. "With this work, employees at the work site don't need to go downtown to seek care", he says.

Carpenter Francisco Martins, who works at Jirau, is on his fifth visit and says he's quite happy about the service offered. "I've extracted, filled, and cleaned teeth. The service here is great. And as we work in a remote facility, it makes things easier. The treatment's quality is also first-class", he says.

To start the treatment, an employee at Jirau should register and pay a monthly fee of R$ 12.61.
