The program "CPFL at Schools" shared knowledge about the conscious use of electric power with students from municipal schools in Hortolândia (SP). The visits took place from October 29 to November 1. Students and teachers visited the Multifunctional Mobile Learning Unit of CPFL Energia: a truck with a series of equipment showing, in a practical and playful manner, the origins of electric power generation, and how to use it intelligently.

The presentation of the Mobile Unit to students, teachers, and the community was the final stage of program "CPFL at Schools". Over the past six months, the program acted in class rooms, by means of training of trainers who spread good practices for electric power consumption. In this period, over five hundred students from the 2nd to the 5th grade of basic education enrolled in municipal schools were encouraged to become multipliers of information they learned by taking it to their families.

Program "CPFL at Schools" was carried out at almost 500 municipal schools in cities where CPFL Paulista and CPFL Piratininga operate, following a proposal that was approved by Aneel (the National Electric Power Agency).

In the region served by CPFL Paulista, 35 cities will be visited by the project: over 1.5 thousand educators from 293 municipal schools will be trained, and 50 thousand students will be benefited.

In the region served by CPFL Piratininga, program "CPFL at Schools" will be held in 200 municipal schools of 26 cities. Over 1 thousand educators will be trained to spread their knowledge to about 35 thousand students.
