CPFL Piratininga celebrates the milestone of 1.5 million customers

CPFL Piratininga, distributor responsible for supplying electricity in 27 cities in the State of São Paulo, celebrates the milestone of 1.5 million customers. At the same time that reaches this historic mark, the company also announced that has been investing more than R$ 10 million in infrastructure and energy efficiency in Sorocaba city to prepare the company to maintain the quality of electricity supply in a fast-growing market.

The commemorative event happened with the inauguration of the new Advanced Station – EA São Bento –, on 10th, and counted with the presence of the Sorocaba's mayor, Vitor Lippi, of the president of CPFL Piratininga, Hélio Viana Pereira, and of representatives of other city's institutions.

"This result is extremely positive for CPFL Piratininga and becomes even more important this year, when we celebrate the centenary of CPFL Energy group. Electricity is essential for people welfare and enables the use of technologies that provide satisfaction and comfort. So, the eight distributors of the Group, which together serve more than 7 million customers, are conspicuous by their excellence and continually seek the best practices to provide sustainable energy solutions in order to act in an integrated way with the community", said Hélio Viana Pereira, president of CPFL Piratininga.
