The city of Campinas, SP, is displaying the exhibition "100 Years of History and Energy," which discusses the achievements of the electricity sector, based on discoveries that led to equipment such as radio, telephone, and Internet that brings together people from all over the world.

With technological and interactive resources, the exhibition brings together documents, photographs, testimonials and videos, to provide visitors with a view of electric power's importance, and of how this input was able to give shape our social organization, economy, consumption and cultural life, creating and transforming habits, diving production and technological innovation. Overall, creating new ways of living.

The exhibition was inaugurated on November 22 last year – when CPFL Energia turned 100 years old – and is curated by Renato de Oliveira Diniz and produced by Ana Maria Xavier.

It will be exceptionally closed from February 9th to 12th (Carnival holiday in Brazil), reopening on Wednesday 13 at noon.
