Havaianas was elected one of the brands with "The Face of Rio" in the third edition of the Marcas dos Cariocas survey.

Conducted by O Globo newspaper and Grupo Troiano de Branding, the survey elected the Rio de Janeiro residents' favorite brands in 29 categories. Almost 5,000 interviews were held during the survey. Answers were spontaneous, with no written or visual suggestions.

The naming of winners was based on product quality, respect for the customer, price, consumer identity, and evolution. The full survey can be read at http://glo.bo/TccdMM
