Mizuno athletes win international dispute in Santos

Mizuno's team of triathletes, formed by Carla Moreno, Ariane Monticeli, and Fábio Carvalho, starred on the podium of Santos International Triathlon 2013. The traditional race was held on Sunday, February 24, on São Paulo state coast, with the Olympic distance of 1.5 km of swimming, 40 km of cycling, and 10 km of running.

A favorite in the competition, Carla Moreno finished the race in 2:03:54, taking the gold medal for the seventh time. Ariane Monticeli was third place among women, and Fábio Carvalho was second in the men's category.

Held since 1992, the Santos International Triathlon is part of Troféu Brasil de Triathlon and SP Open Biathlon SP, and was joined by renowned athletes like the Australian Michellie Jones, Olympic medalist at the Sydney Games of 2000, and the Argentinean Oscar Galindez, one of the most prominent winners of the competition ever.
