Working on the Ideal Volunteer program, from Camargo Corrêa Institute (ICC), is one of the works presented on book Olhares sobre o Voluntariado Corporativo, which collects articles from specialists in corporate volunteering. One of the main projects of Ideal Volunteer is the Ideal Volunteer Action Groups (GAIVs) and the Doing Good Day, both practiced by professionals of Camargo Corrêa Group.
The program’s coordinator Flávio Seixas highlights in his book that the program’s focus is to fosters the long-lasting organization of volunteer nuclei at several units of Camargo Corrêa Group. “We believe that with constant and planned activities it’s possible to cause mid and long-term impacts on the community”, he says.
The book is made up of three parts. The first comprises articles on the context of corporate volunteering. The second features three guest specialists reflecting on individual experiences and views on corporate volunteering. The third section contains experience reports, showing the variety and wealth of the volunteer concept.
