About 500 young adults aged 15 to 29 will participate in the project "CapacitAR: youth development for the professional and personal self-management". This is a collaboration between Fundación Loma Negra and Universidade Católica de Cuyo, in Argentina.

The work was started November last year in Rivadavia, in San Juan province, and offers courses for elderly caregivers, nannies, as well employees of cleaning services and gardeners. The lesson plans and the training implementation shall be carried out by the University and the City Community Development Center (CDC), recently opened by Fundación Loma Negra and maintained by InterCement in Argentina.

The training provided by CapacitAR, to be held by the end of this year, includes a series of courses and workshops covering the areas of personal development, personal care and promotion, human rights, prevention of social risk behaviors and job prospects, among various others.

"We are working to make this project grow and develop. This is the first experience of our CDC. Despite our recent beginning, we have many initiatives and willingness to support all programs by Fundación", says Claudia Miranda, Human Resources analyst at InterCement and member of the CDC in San Juan.
