The five largest transportation companies providing services to InterCement, in Cezarina city, Goiás state, adopted the guidelines of The Right Way program. This is an initiative by Childhood Brazil to mobilize governments, companies, and third-sector organizations to efficiently fight sex exploitation of children and adolescents in Brazilian roads.

The companies were invited by InterCement and were really interested in getting involved. “Not only an endorser of the initiative, InterCement follows this strategy of inviting its partners to join this important cause, expanding the effects of actions outside the company’s walls, to its direct contacts”, says Sergio Maroco, Logistics Coordinator at InterCement.
“As a next action, the unit is organizing some mobilization and awareness programs to be conducted in April and targeted at drivers traveling some certain road extensions in the Goiás state, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Police, the Guardianship Council, and the key transportation partners serving the unit”, Maroco says.
InterCement is the cement holding of Camargo Corrêa Group.
