Program by Construtora Camargo Corrêa offers positions for newly graduates

Candidates can apply for the process until September 30.

Construtora Camargo Corrêa has opened applications for the 2014 Young Talent program, offering opportunities also on the international market. The selection is for graduates in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Business, Economics, Law, Psychology and Pedagogy (graduated between December 2011 and 2013), with intermediate knowledge of English or Spanish.

At first, the positions are for São Paulo (capital and upstate), Minas Gerais, Goiás, Maranhão, Pará, Venezuela (Caracas) and Colombia (Medellin). However, Camargo Corrêa conducts projects in several Brazilian regions, therefore availability to move and live in other locations is a requirement to participate in the Young Talent program.

The Young Talents are allocated at the company’s worksites, in Brazil or abroad, and periodically return to São Paulo for qualification courses. The training courses offer technical, behavioral and self-knowledge contents. With this, the program seeks to complement the education of recently-graduated professionals, developing knowledge and skills that qualify them to progress in their career more quickly in the several business areas. 

Candidates can apply from August 19 to September 30, 2013, only at website jovensprofissionais.construtoracamargocorrea.com.br. Last year, the number of applicants for each vacancy was around 700.  After concluding the program’s 24-month cycle, the Young Talent progresses in his career at the company. In addition to salaries and benefits in level with those on the market, the company offers an Incentive Plan for each project.

Engineer Luiz Carlos Fontes Lima joined the company through the Young Talent Program in 2008. After concluding the two years of training, he worked at units outside the country and in several areas of the company. Today, he is coordinator of the Contracts and Risk area at the headquarters of the company, on Avenida Faria Lima. "In addition to investing in training, the Young Talent program offered me important experience in national and international infrastructure projects", Lima says.

The selection process will start with online tests, followed by group dynamics and the first phase of interviews. Finalists will take part in an in-company group activity and interviews with managers of Camargo Corrêa. Each step will take place in São Paulo and in São Luís, Maranhão, and the expenses with transportation (air or ground) of candidates will be paid by the company.  All participants will be informed of the result of the selection process.
