April 16, 2009 – Usiminas, the largest producer of sheet steel in Brazil, announces today that Companhia Vale do Rio Doce is no longer a shareholder. Thus, Camargo Corrêa Group increases its stake at Usiminas buying 3,593,308 shares amounting to R$ 143,732,320.00, and now holds 6.47% of total shares, 12.98% of common shares and 20.34% of shares linked to the majority shareholders of Usiminas.
